The Museum of Contemporary Art is housed in a Renaissance palace which was the home of Don Alonso de Bazon. He bequeathed the building to the town of Marbella to serve as a hospital for the poor. It has been renovated. Today, this attractive mansion of pink stone and brick houses a display of contemporary art, including works by such famous names as Picasso, Tapies and Chillida.
