The Contemporary Art Museum opened in 2003 in a former warehouse near the main railway station. This art gallery is dedicated to contemporary art in all its forms. Outside the entrance is the sculpture Man Moving by the German artist Stephen Balkenhall. Inside, the exhibition halls consist of 2,400 metres of space. There is a permanent exhibition of works by well known modern artists as well as temporary exhibitions.
