Cala Xaracca is a small, beautiful beach in a sheltered inlet. It provided one of the settings for the film South Pacific. The cove is suitable for snorkelling and there is a restaurant. The tiny bay is set in a larger cove between the headlands Punta Mares and Punta de Xarraca. A fine coastal walk of about six miles can be taken from Cala Portinatx to Porta de Xarraca.
