The Diocesan Museum is housed in the former Bishop`s Palace which is situated behind the cathedral. The collection consists of paintings, ceramics, pulpits, prayer books and Arab tapestries. On display is a collection of 14th to 18th Century pottery. There is a fine panel painting illustrating the life of St Paul and another telling the story of Christ. One outstanding work by Pere Nisart depicts St George slaying the dragon against a background of medieval Palma.
