The Ecomuseu Cap de Cavalleria is a small museum occupying an old farmhouse on a hill with views to Cap de Cavalleria. It stands about half a mile from the harbour of Sanitja, which was once the port for Sanisera, a Roman city. It was built in AD123 on the site of an earlier Phoenician settlement. Finds from the archaeological excavations can be seen in the museum.
