Ermita de Bonany stands on top of the 1040 foot high hill Puig de Bonany which offers extensive views over the surrounding countryside. The sanctuary dates from the early 17th Century when it was built after prayed for rain saved crops from a drought. The monastery cross was erected in honour of Junipero Serra who went to America in 1749. There is a pretty chapel with a rose window and a cupola.
