The sanctuary of Ermita de Sant Miquel dates from the 19th Century and it is perched on a hill outside Montuiri from where there are splendid views of the village. It is surrounded by several stone windmills and in the main square is a fine Gothic church with Baroque retables. Every August, Montuiri holds a spectacular traditional festival with dancers, bagpipes and drums.
