The Laguna de la Fuente de la Piedra is located near the village of the same name. At this large lake thousands of flamingos can be seen and it is one of the few places in Europe where the greater flamingo breeds. Other birds here are owls, kestrels, coots, mallards and Montagu`s harriers. Stilts also nest here. Near the lake is a reception centre and there is an observation area of the lake.
