Gordiola Glassworks were founded in the early 18th Century but the works are now in a mid 20th Century neo-Gothic building. Inside you can watch skilled glass-blowers at work. Upstairs is a museum containing glassware such as jugs, vases, glasses and bottles from the works` early years. There are also cabinets with objects of glass from all over the world, icluding early Islamic, Venetian, classical Greece, Poland and Scotland. In the gift shop a great variety of glassware is on sale.
