The Historic Park of San Sebastian is located on a site in the old quarter of Navalcarnero where once stood a hermitage. It is a popular meeting place with lawns and benches. There is also a cafe. The park has many pathways and sculptures of famous people such as Isabel the Catholic. The town was founded during her reign. Another sculpture is of Mariana of Austria who married King Felipe 1V in 1649. There is an ampitheatre where outdoor events are held in the summer months.
