Las Tuerces is a fantastic area of weirdly shaped rocks that have been eroded into mushroom shapes, arches, gullies and bridges. Some of the rocks look like tables or even creatures such as frogs. Las Tuercas is situated in the canyon of La Horadada which is a deep gorge containing the River Pisuerga. The canyon has vertical walls with many caves. It is a good area for walking, cycling and canoeing.
