Malaga is in an area rich in marine ecology and in this sea aquarium there are many creatures of the sea. The aquarium opened in 1990 and since 1994 it has been a centre for protecting endangered marine species. As well as displays of marine flora and fauna there are sections devoted to archaeology, sailing and fishing. You can see models and various fishermen`s tools.
