Malgrat De Mar has a sandy beach which is over one mile long. There is a lifeguard as well as a first aid centre. Full facilities are available, including showers, and sun loungers and sun shades can be hired. Refreshments such as drinks and icecream are available and cafes and restaurants are nearby. The resort has a launching area and tourist cruises are on offer. There are also opportunities to learn sailing and windsurfing.
