Melilla has a long history and this museum is located in the fortified area of old Melilla in a building which dates from the 16th Century. Here, from the Bastion of La Concepcion Alta, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. The museum holds a collection of weapons, munitions, vehicles, uniforms and flags as well as photographs and paintings. One interesting exhibit is a scale model of Melilla which was made in the mid 19th Century.
