Moguer has many fine buildings and amongst them is the Ayuntamiento, which was built in the 18th Century. The town hall has a beautiful Renaissance facade with two storeys on marble columns. At one time it featured on the Spanish 2,000 peseta bank notes, reflecting the importance of the town in Spanish history. Inside is a beautiful patio.
