Mondonedo is an attractive, small, inland town with stately mansions bearing coats of arms. The cathedral has been built in a mixture of styles and it has a Romanesque portal. The stained glass is 16th Century and the cloisters are 17th Century, whilst the towers are 18th Century Baroque. Inside is a statue known as the Nuesta Senora de Ingles which is from St Pauls in London.
