The Conxunto Monumental de San Vicente stands at the top of a hill in the centre of this Galician town. The monastery originated in the 9th Century but the present building was erected on the same site during the 17th Century. Built in the Neo-classical style, it is now a parador. Above the doorway are the shields of families important in this town and you can see a former cloister. There is a cafe.
