Morro Del Jable was originally a fishing village and it has recently grown into a busy holiday resort. There is a yachting marina and ferries to Las Palmas on Gran Canaria. There are also fishing trips, and cruises with the chance of seeing dolphins and whales are on offer. Other themed trips such as pirate cruises aimed at children are sometimes available. Around the harbour with its narrow streets are cafes and seafood restaurants.
