Priego de Cordoba is an interesting, market town which was famous for its silk production in the 18th Century, but its history goes much further back. In the Museo Historico Municipal are displays of artefacts from prehistoric times. There are also many items relating to the medieval period. The museum will also advise you of archaeological sites and trips in the area.
