The Museum of Mijas is an interesting museum with artefacts, models and displays explaining the folk history of Mijas. One of the exhibits is a donkey that has been crafted from esparto grass. The village is known for its picturesque streets and donkey rides. It is located at the foot of mountains and high above the sea and many spots offer beauiful views of the coast.
