The Museum of Palencia is housed in the splendid House of the Cordon, which is a large, 16th Century house with a sculpted cord around its doorway. It is located in what used to be the city`s Jewish quarter. The museum displays archaeological artefacts from the Province of Palencia. These are from excavations that have taken place at Monte Bernorio, Tariego and Palenzuela.
