Ojen is an attractive village lying in the hills among eucalyptus and citrus trees. In the past it was famous for producing an anise drink called Aguardiente which had health benefits. In the hills beyond the village are tracks leading to walking trails amongst chestnut and pinsapo trees and there is a mirador with views stretching as far as Africa on a clear day. Wildlife includes Spanish ibex and eagles.
