Olvera is a beautiful, white village with a Moorish castle that can be seen from a great distance. The settlement was reconquered by Alfonso X1 in the early 14th Century. It is possible to visit the castle, which has recently been renovated. Nearby, in the square, is the Iglesia de la Encarnaion with its two towers. There is also a museum dedicated to life in the Middle Ages.
