The Palace de l` Almudaina was converted from a Moorish fortress into a palace for the kings of Mallorca many centuries ago. Muslim features include the crenellations on the square towers, and the arcades. As well as serving various official functions, the building is now a museum. There are Flemish tapestries and paintings. The Arab baths have survived and they consist of three chambers, one each for hot, tepid and cold baths. You can also see the Queen`s and King`s rooms which contain oriental carpets, Flemish tapestries and paintings.
