The Palacio de Fernan Lunez was built in the mid 19th Century for the Duke and Duchess of Fernan Nunez and it was the family home until the start of the Civil War. The palace became the headquarters of the Spanish State Railway in 1941 and exhibitions are sometimes held here. In some of the rooms are carpets made by the Real Fabrica de Tapies and antique furniture. The ballroom has beautiful gold plated decorations.
