Palmitos Park is a beautiful, botanical park in a valley north of Maspalomas. It has an aviary and a zoo. One of the island`s main tourist atractions, the garden houses over two hundred species of exotic birds including flamingos, toucans, cockatoos, hornbills, macaws and peacocks. Children enjoy the parrot show. Other highlights include birds of prey, a butterfly house, a tropical fish aquarium, an orchid house, a cactus garden and a palm grove.
