Parc Nou is a botanical garden in the grounds of an old mansion. It is now owned by the local council and it opened as a municipal park in 1945 whilst the villa is a museum. Much of the park is woodlands typical of English oak woods, extremely rare in Spain and some of the trees are 100 years old. The park contains a spring as well as over twenty species of trees and many kinds of plants. They are labelled with their common and scientific names.
