The Museo de Picasso is housed in a 16th Century mansion that was once the residence of the Counts of Buenavista. There is a permanent collection of over 200 works donated by Picasso`s daughter-in-law Christine Ruiz-Picasso, and grandson Bernard Ruiz-Picasso. These include portraits of his son Paul and the women in his life, as well as paintings from the different periods of his career. There are also a number of sculptures and ceramics. In the basement are archaeological remains and finds.
