La Placa Santa Anna lies at the centre of the city of Mataro. Here you will find the 18th Century Church of Santa Anna. Nearby on the Riera, which is lined with lime trees, is the 17th Century Town Hall. Other buildings to look out for are the 18th Century Casa de les Caputxines and the Modernist Casa Coll i Regas. The Torre Lauder is the remains of a Roman bathhouse.
