In the small square Placa del Marques de Palmer is a Modernista five storey apartment building called Can Rei which was built in the 20th Century. Adornng the building are ceramics, gargoyles and oriel windows. The nearby building L`Aguila has more windows but is also interesting. The square is at the end of Carrer Colom, a pleasant shopping area which stretches as far as Placa Cort, site of the Town Hall.
