The Perez Enciso Ethnographic and Textile Museum of Plasencia is housed in old hospital buildings. The museum celebrates the culture of Extremadura and there are about five thousand items including pottery, ceramics, wooden carvings and photographs of traditional architecture. There are tools used in the making of wool and linen and also traditional clothing as well as lace and embroidery. Most of the items belong to the Pedro Perez Encisco collection.
