The beach of Playa del Matorral stretches for over two miles along the coast of the Jandia Peninsula. There is a wide promenade with cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Near the beach is a lighthouse known as Faro del Matorral. Sunbeds can be hired but if you want something more active there are centres for windsurfing, diving and sailing as well as underwater catamarans.
