Priego de Cordoba Castle is a restored Moorish fortress in the beautiful, medieval town quarter. It was remodelled in the 12th and 14th centuries and it has a walled perimeter with a keep from the 13th Century when the town was under the Order of Calatrava. The castle is accessed through horseshoe arches and the keep has been a designated Artistic Monument since 1943.
