The summit of Puig de Mari offers magnificent views of the Formentor Peninsula, and on the top of this 320 metres high hill is the Hermitage Senyora del Puig. The fortified monastic complex was first occupied by nuns in 1371 and it has been restored several times. This is a lovely, peaceful place and it can be reached in just over one hour`s walk from Pollenca.
