The Museo Nacional Ferroviario is located at the former main station for Portugal. The station of Delicias opened in 1880 but closed in 1971. You can now see about thirty locomotives and rolling stock. There are steam, diesel and electric locomotives as well as carriages. Interesting exhibits include a steam locomotive built in the 1880s in Britain, wooden carriages, scale models and station clocks.
