Ribadavia is a medieval town that has been designated a Site of Historical and Cultural Interest. The Ethnology Museum is housed in an 18th Century manor house which used to belong to the Marques of Baamonde. It is one of the most interesting in the area. There is a fine archaeogical collection as well as many ethnological pieces. You can also see a display of ceramics crafted in the traditional Galician style. The museum holds many documents and there is a library.
