The Santa Clara Convent dates from the 13th Century when it was a Franciscan Sisters` Convent. The building has been changed over the years and during the 19th Century it was used as a barracks. After that it was occupied by the nuns for a while before becoming Engineers quarters. It was partly dismantled in the 20th Century but retains a Baroque facade and part of the original cloisters. It is now the Tax Office.
