Palamos has a long fishing tradition and the town has been a fishing port for many centuries. The Museo de la Pesca explores the history of fishing in the area. It is housed in a former warehouse in the port. The exhibition includes many artefacts and models of the techniqes used in fishing. There are also videos illustrating the lives of several fishermen. The museum organizes trips on a sailing boat that was built in 1915.
