The Iglesia de las Salesus is a large baroque church. It was founded by Barbara of Braganza, the Portuguese wife of Fernando V1, as a retreat from her domineering mother-in-law if the king died before her. He didn`t. Francoise Carlier, a French architect, designed the church and it was completed in 1758. Inside is a paintng of the Visitation by Francesco de Mura and works by Corrado Giaquinto. The tombs of Fernando and Barbara are in the church.
