Torre Nueva Beach is over one mile long and it is partly composed of sand. The sea here has shallow, calm waters and it is a popular beach for families. There are lifeguards and a Red Cross point. Nautical equipment can be hired. There is also a promenade and the beach has won a tourism award. The village has an old watchtower from which its name is derived.
