Toses Village

Toses stands at 1450 metres above sea level and it is one of the highest inhabited villages in Spain. The Church of San Cristofol stands at the highest part of the village and this 10th to 12th Century building with its barrel vaulted nave is worth seeing for its ancient frescoes. These include Christ`s Ascension and pastoral scenes. Copies are in the Museum of Catalonia Art in Barcelona.
