The Town Hall in Marbella was built in the mid 16th Century. On one corner of the facade there is a sun dial, and also a stone that commemorates the taking of the town from the Moors on 11 June 1485. On the upper floor of the Town Hall is a Mudejar ceiling and murals from the 16th Century. A pendant of the Catholic Monarchs is kept in the hall.
