The rural Roman villa of Ametllers was in the Roman province of Tarracanensis. The site is being excavated and the finds indicate that this was an important, wealthy villa. Excavations have uncovered a central heating system, mosaics, ceramics and sculptures. Other finds include part of a fruit press and vat as well as farming tools and fishing items. Other objects such as utensils and spoons have been found. Pre-arranged guided visits only.
