Seville`s Town Hall stands between the squares Plaza San Francisco and Plaza Nueva. The building fronting the Plaza San Francisco is in the Plateresque style and dates from the 16th Century, whilst the 19th Century west front is Neo-classical. Inside the original building are Renaissance features and the council chambers have a coffered ceiling with busts of thirty-six monarchs. On the upper floor are art works by Zurbaran, Valdes Leal and Murillo. Infrequent guided tours are available.
