Tossa De Mar is one of the prettiest resorts on the Costa Brava. Close to the town is the main beach of Platja Gran with its golden sands and safe swimming. It is sheltered and parasols can be hired. Restaurants are nearby. Trips can be made by excursion boats and some of these are glass bottomed boats so that you can easily see the colourful marine life. Small, sandy coves are also within easy reach.
