Cap de Ses Salines is the most southerly point on Mallorca. It is a bleak headland covered in scrub and there is a lighthouse from where there are magnificent views of the south coast as well as Cabrera Island. It is a good place for birdwatching and several species may be seen including shearwaters and terns gliding about offshore. Cap de Ses Salines lies a few miles south of the town of Les Salines.
