Casa Quintana is a 17th Century Canarian house with a splendid, wooden, Mudejar balcony. It was the home of the first mayor of Santa Maria de Guia. On it is the family shield. You can follow a town trail with English information boards from the square and along quiet streets, passing painted houses, to the San Roque chapel. Whilst in the town, try out the local cheese `queso de flor`. It is made of goats` cheese amd flavoured with artichokes.
