The Iglesia de San Marcos is an attractive Gothic church converted from a mosque in the 14th Century. The building boasts a fine facade with a Gothic portal and Mudejar blind arcading above. There is a slender minaret tower with windows of different sizes. The church is known for its impressive sculptures of the resurrected Jesus Christ and Mark the Evangelist. The church was damaged during the civil war but retains some interesting features inside.
