The Iglesia de San Mateo is the main church in the small, pretty town of Tarifa. It boasts a splendid 17th Century Baroque facade, whilst the main part of the building is 16th Century Gothic. There are stained glass windows and inside is a sculpture of San Mateo by Martinez Montanes. Also of interest is a tomb from the time of the Visigoths.
