The Iglesia de San Pedro is built in several architectural styles. A number of Mudejar elements survive and these can be seen in the brickwork of the tower, whilst inside is a Mudejar wooden ceiling and door. The tower has a baroque belfry and the main portal of the church added by Diego de Quesada in the early 17th Century is also baroque. Artist Diego Velazquez was baptised here in 1599.
